2018 Health Benefits
Overview
YNHHS is proud to offer competitive benefits for you and your family. We have made significant changes to our 2018 benefits in response to your Employee Engagement Survey responses.
In the medical plan, you will see the elimination of deductibles and co-insurance when YNHHS providers are used. In their place, you will see flat copays for all services billed by YNHHS, except for Preventive Care, which is still covered at 100%. The two year lock on the dental plan has been eliminated so you can change your plan during any annual enrollment. Dependent children between the ages of 19 and 26 will no longer need to be full-time students to be covered under dental and vision. You may cover them through age 26 as in the medical plan. In addition to the basic vision plan we offer, there will be an enhanced benefit offered as well.
HRConnect is your single source for all YNHHS benefits information—regardless of your work location in our health care system. Benefits enrollment is completed by accessing www.ynhhsbenefits.com. HRConnect can assist you with information about the various benefit plans as well as the enrollment process.
- Comprehensive, easy-to-use on-line employee self-help portal: HRConnect provides 24/7 access to benefits information, a searchable database to answer general benefits questions, and the ability to post a confidential inquiry (open a case) about benefits matters for response by an HRConnect associate. Employees who use the portal to open a case about a benefits matter will hear back from an HRConnect associate within the next business day. The portal is accessible using a smartphone, computer or tablet.
- Toll-free number to reach HRConnect: 1-844-543-21HR (2147) Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Employees can speak directly with an experienced YNHHS HRConnect Associate, who is able to answer most inquiries immediately. After hours, employees can create a case on the HRConnect portal.

The self-help portal and call center leverage robust technology and knowledgeable HRConnect associates to provide an employee-focused resource that will give you easier, faster and more convenient access to current benefits information.
